Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview at Kanal Avrupa on September 12th, 2010
OKTAR BABUNA:I seek refuge with Allah from the satan.
"Corrupt women are for corrupt men and corrupt men are for corrupt women, Good women are for good men and good men are for good women. The latter are innocent of what they say. They will have forgiveness and generous provision."
ADNAN OKTAR:Yes, there should be one more verse; "Men and women who are obedient, and women who are steadfast."
Also according to this verse, the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is clearly a taqwa [fearing and obeying Allah] person as he would not marry by looking at one's appearance or alike, I mean the characteristics of this woman are as such: she tries to rape him, this is one. She slanders, this is two. She does not even blink for seven years and does not even become an object for him; she persecutes him that much. And the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) will go and say "I would like to reward you and I would like to marry you." The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) did no marry her; there is no such thing. That is only in the legends and songs. We do not act according to songs or legends. We act according to the sources of the Ahl al-Sunnah. There is no such thing. Insha'Allah. The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is a great and valuable Prophet. He is a very smart person and knows very well how to do what. He does not approach such a marriage, insha'Allah.
OKTAR BABUNA:I am reading the verse master. I seek refuge with Allah from the satan.
"Men and women who are Muslims, men and women who submits, men and women who are obedient, men and women who are truthful, men and women who are steadfast, men and women who are humble, men and women who give alms, men and women who fast, men and women who guard their private parts, men and women who remember Allah much: Allah has prepared forgiveness for them and an immense reward."
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) acted according to this verse and this verse is not only intended for the time of our Prophet (saas). It includes the time of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and the Prophet Noah (pbuh) and this is also a requirement of the moral values of Islam. These rules are valid in all Islam religions; these commands are valid for all of them. Is that understood?
